Ethiopian eggplant -in N-E India

The Ethiopian eggplant grows in India and Africa. It is a vibrant red colour..the people in N-E India eat it raw as well as cooked…it is rich in carotene and fibre…..what more could one want? this plant has the looks and taste that makes you want to eat it again…and again…..it is called a mock tomato as it looks like a cross between a tomato and eggplant….
