Green chickpeas-high fibre, low fat

Fresh Green chickpeas can be shelled and eaten raw, or roasted in the shell, and eaten after removing the shell. They are high in Fibre, Vit A, Vit, C , Iron and Fibre and low in fat. It is cumbersome to remove the shell but once that has been done, the taste and nutritional benefits are worth it..give it a try……..the healthiest food is that which grows locally and is eaten off the stalk, as fresh as it can be…..of course I add the raw mango-garlic chutney to it for an added flavor and health boost 🙂
