Home and hearth-good for the heart

The homes that supposedly have less, actually have the health food that people in so-called developed areas pay through their nose for….and remain deprived of the simplest and freshest food. In the North-eastern part of India, the poor and rich have enough to eat (as told to me by the villagers who live there). The land is rich in nutrients, vegetables, fruits ¬†and spices grow in the wild…livestock fed on the lush greenery is of the best quality. The village folk cook over an open fire that cooks the best….slow-cooking, with minimal salt and spices…….all the meat has vegetables in it, and herbs….
