As the name suggests, the white leaves surrounding the bright, tiny orange flowers of this plant can be spotted from a distance. It grows wild in the north-eastern part of India, and I have seen it here for the first time. It has been reported to have medicinal uses, for gastrointestinal disorders, liver disorders, respiratory disorders…………..and eye infections!!! A beautiful plant, it is used for ornamental purposes too.
