Pansy flowers mean thought

The Pansy has been spoken of, painted, gifted throughout the world through centuries. The word pansy means ‘thought’ so it represents free-thought. Those who use it in a derogatory way only expose their ignorance. The flower has been cultivated in different colours, as hybrids, throughout the ancient and modern world. If left by a lover, it means the object of his affection is being thought of.

In some cultures, brides carry a bouquet of pansies. This flower does fill our lives with colour.
