Silver mushroom

Up a mountain path, surrounded by flowers and amidst the clouds, one occasionally looks down at a tree trunk, only to find a glistening, silvery, solitary mushroom. It was pointed out by my sister. No, the thought to whether it is edible or not does not cross one’s mind, as the beauty of that area must remain undisturbed. It is a part of the untouched land that symbolises the wonders of the universe.

As a child ( and now!), I have been transported to the world of Noddy, who lives in a toy town. His friend Big ears lives in a toadstool…..has he shifted to this mushroom??? I silently wish him a good day and get the distinct feeling that elves and tiny fairies are all around.
