The eye of the Near-Threatened Great Hornbill

The Great Hornbill is a near-threatened species….once you have seen a Great Hornbill, only then can you really appreciate the true magnificence and beauty of this bird…..they are playful, will eat fruits off your hand, approach you…..they sing while looking you in the eye,…I have seen 12 of them…..I was a special experience to see the eye of this Hornbill close-up…the iris and pupil¬† of this bird were a soft brown, the eyes had a depth which is unfathomable…..
